Vivo Y1s price in India, launch timeline, and more have been revealed courtesy of tipster Mukul Sharma. According to his latest tweet, Vivo Y1s India launch will take place in December and it will be a budget offering with entry-level specs. The phone, which launched globally back in August, will release in India next month and Sharma claims that Vivo will partner with Jio for the Y1s to lock-in the device with the network to offer some special benefits to users. This sounds similar to the carrier lock-in schemes available in countries like the US. The tipster has also mentioned that the Vivo Y1s price in India will be around Rs 8,000.
The Vivo Y1s flaunts a 6.22-inch Halo FullView HD+ display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The phone runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10.5 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS. As for the cameras, the Vivo Y1s has a single 13MP sensor on the back. There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The device packs a 4,030mAh battery with no fast charging support. The Vivo Y1s measures 135.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and weighs 161 grams.
